Hummingbirds are our smallest native birds and ones we all love and enjoy. Come to a workshop at Bush’s Pasture Park on Thursday July 17th at 2pm to learn more about this special group of birds. We will learn about the types of hummingbirds that we have in Oregon and some of their habits. We will learn what we can do to attract them to our property all year long. We will learn about feeders and how to make your own nectar and maintain your feeder. Each participant will make a hummingbird feeder to take home using recycled glass bottles.
The workshop will be held in the Art Barn courtesy of the Salem Arts Association. Enter through the main door of the gallery and continue to the annex classroom. Come a bit early and enjoy the gallery. Children are welcome as long as they are accompanied by an adult.
Registration is required with maximum of 24. To register https://events.humanitix.com/hummingbird-workshop/tickets
