After a COVID-enforced hiatus, MSPC will again host our annual summer plant sale on Friday, July 16, and Saturday, July 17, from 10 am – 3pm both days. The sale will be held near Bush House Museum under the cool shade of the English white oaks.
Our diverse group of growers include Van Hevelingen Herb Nursery, Arbutus Garden Arts, Egan Gardens, Garden Thyme Nursery, Perennial Obsessions, and White Oak Farm offering a wide variety of herbs, choice perennials including hardy fuchsias, hardy succulents, dwart conifers, Japanese maples, and more.
Saturday includes a new twist, FAMILY FUN DAY!
This year, we’ve added: 20 minute “Wise Gals” classes in ‘Cooking with Herbs’ by Sally Miller, ‘How to Successfully Dry Flowers’ by Sally Herman, and ‘Designing with Herbs’ by Gretchen Carnaby. These classes will be held between 11am and 1pm on Saturday.
Other family activities on Saturday include ‘Hands on Art and Planting Project for Kids’, Design and Plant your own Succulent Planter’, and ‘Follow the Map to Bush Park Treasures’. Bring your family and join the FUN!
As always, we offer: spectacularly grown plants by Willamette Valley growers; plant experts/local growers on site; easy parking; and, convenient plant pick-up all in the beautiful surroundings of Bush’s Pasture Park. AND the proceeds benefit our beloved ‘gem’ of an urban park.
