The woodland garden project at Bush’s Pasture Park took another step towards reality today when volunteers cut an opening through the hedge into the new garden space. Over the next 6 weeks, the City will level the uneven ground, grade two paths, and install irrigation. Then, in mid-October, volunteers will begin planting trees, ornamental shrubs, over 100 yews for hedges, and nearly one thousand individual ground cover plants. Tables and chairs will be installed next year. The Conservancy has raised $37,000 from our generous donors towards our $45,000 budget. If you would like to support the project, you can make a contribution here.
